The age-old adage First Do No Harm should be the tempering goal of not only medicine, but government and industry, especially when they team up to deploy new technologies, set policies and serve the people.

Picture Life in Baraboo, WI, USA: No More Water Service (if you refuse a smart meter)

 Life in Baraboo, Wisconsin, USA
means collecting water from a small pool to flush your toilet
because the city utility disconnected your water.

You just want to opt out of their radiofrequency transmitting water meter
for health, security, privacy reasons.
But they would rather disconnect you than allow it.

Life in Baraboo, Wisconsin, USA
also means an 81-year-old great-grandma
must go without water
for having her own opinion
about the risks of smart water meters.
The city utility also disconnected her water this week.

Is this America, land of the free, anymore? It is surely still "home of the brave" as shown by these citizens standing up for their convictions and freedoms.
