Since the borough shut off her water Friday, Cindee Zlacki of Springdale has been using her neighbor's outdoor hose to fill her ailing husband's nebulizer.
It's but one of the many hardships she's faced since refusing to comply with the borough's mandated smart meter system by its Aug. 30 deadline...
“I'm not putting anything in my home that will harm my kids,” she said. “This is a democracy and you're supposed to have choices. I don't understand how the borough thinks they can force me into this position...”
Dear Ms. Zlacki,
This is not a democracy when collectivist monopolies control necessary utility services, and refuse to provide flexible, individual customer service - because they don't HAVE to.
The utility rulers are untouchable and harsh in the same way that communist leaders are: Customers could die from lack of water, but they'll turn it off anyhow. Customers could also become ill from smart meter radiation, which has been shown to be biologically risky - especially for people with health issues or vulnerabilities.
Living in the growing (smart grid-enabled)
Utility-ruled Utopia means:
System comes before People.
Corporate Collectivism Leads.
Individuals are Expendable.
Why? Greed. Power. Ideology. Corruption. Naivety.

The age-old adage First Do No Harm should be the tempering goal of not only medicine, but government and industry, especially when they team up to deploy new technologies, set policies and serve the people.
This blog exists to reveal and analyze areas in which these powerful groups are failing to "first do no harm."
